Catahoula Hotel is a restored Creole townhouse, originally built in 1845. Each room is unique and there are differences in layout and features within the same room type.
All rooms include a Casper mattress, rainfall shower head, 32-inch smart television, free wifi, vanity desk custom-made from Louisiana Cypress wood, and organic shower products.
Guest Room
170 square feet
Perfect for the adventurous traveler who explores the city by day and wants a place to rest their head at night without breaking the bank. Guest Rooms are our coziest room type and are all located on the first-floor of the property. These rooms have everything you need and nothing you don’t. Each room features a plush Queen or King sized bed so you can get some zzzs before another full day in town.*

State Room

Our State Rooms are ideal for the explorer looking for unique but efficient accommodations. These rooms are similar in size to our Guest Rooms but are located on the second and third floors of the property. State Rooms feature higher ceilings and historical architectural details. Some State Rooms do feature street or Courtyard facing balconies* and all have Queen sized beds.

Classic Room

Classic Rooms offer a comfortable and private retreat in the heart of the city. Our Classic Rooms are most similar in size to a standard hotel room and are located on our second and third floors. All feature higher ceilings and a King sized bed. Some rooms have gorgeous historic windows and others feature a private terrace.*

Premier Room
300 square feet
Premier Rooms are some of our most historic rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows, restored plaster walls, and more room to stretch out. All are attached to a State Room and the two can be reserved as adjoining rooms. Each Premier Room features a sitting-area. There are only two of these special rooms on the property and one has a street-facing balcony.*

Master Bedroom

The Master Bedroom offers plush accommodations for a special occasion or well-deserved getaway. This is the largest room on the property and is truly special with a full sitting area, a double shower, and a street-facing balcony. The Master Bedroom features brick and plaster walls, a high architectural ceiling and original picture windows.
Bunk Room
230 square feet
The Bunk Room offers perfect sleeping quarters for a fun-loving group of four looking for an affordable option in the heart of the city. This room consists of four twin beds custom-built into the wall in a bunk style.
Catahoula Flats
750 square feet
Catahoula Flats offer apartment-style living with all the amenities of a hotel. Full kitchens and in-unit washer dryers make Catahoula Flats the perfect home-base for an extended stay in New Orleans.
