Do you want to mope to bedroom pop outside of the comfort of your own bedroom? It’s Pisces Season. You should. The prolific Matador-signed Car Seat Headrest is playing at the always lovely + just intimate enough Tipitina’s.

Wednesday, February 27th: An Evening with Stephen Marley at House of Blues

Friday, March 1st: Corrosion of Conformity and Crowbar at Southport Hall

Cross the Orleans-Jefferson Parish border to catch two Southern metal legends. I hear there’s a dress code for the gentlemen and it’s no sleeves allowed.

Saturday, March 2nd: Freedia Gras at One Eyed Jacks

You already know. Queen diva Big Freedia will be gracing One Eyed Jacks with two bounce sets this weekend, with Saturday’s featuring special guests Pell and KP.

CHURCH is a raucous dubstep and bass music party and the Mardi Gras edition of this popular electronic music night is sure to be a party.
